On May 21, PEN hosted a reading in celebration of the 2008 Literary Awards. Award recipients and finalists Cynthia Ozick, Alex Mindt, and Theresa Nelson gathered at New York's KGB Bar to read from their recent works. Elissa Schappell, chair of PEN’s Literary Awards Committee, hosted the event.
