Rangjung
Tibetan writer, singer and television presenter, arrested at his home in Amdo Golok, eastern Tibet, on September 11, 2008, possibly for the pro-Tibetan views expressed on his blog. Rangjung has published two books on Tibetan culture and history, Dhung shen kharpo (Pure Loyalty) and Himalaya Reboed (Himalaya Call for Hope). He was released in October 2009.
