A Thousand Deaths Plus One

April 28 | The Americas Center | NYC

With Leland Chambers, Bruce McPherson, and Sergio Ramírez

One of Latin America’s greatest living writers and Vice President of Nicaragua from 1984 to 1990, Sergio Ramírez has been at the forefront of literary life in the Americas for more than four decades. In this highly anticipated event, the novelist and his translator, Leland Chambers, will read from his newly translated A Thousand Deaths Plus One in Spanish and in English.

Cosponsored by Americas Society, the Blue Metropolis Foundation, and Instituto Cervantes
