Ami Sands Brodoff wins the 2009 Canadian Jewish Book Award for fiction

Please join PEN in congratulating Ami Sands Brodoff on winning the The Beatrice and Martin Fischer Award  for her novel The White Space Between (Second Story Press) at the 21st annual Helen and Stan Vine Canadian Jewish Book Awards celebrating excellence in Canadian writing on Jewish themes and subjects.

Ami Sands Brodoff is an award-winning novelist, short story author, and reviewer. Her latest novel, The White Space Between, centers on a mother and daughter grappling with the impact and reverberations of the Holocaust. The novel is written in honour and memory of Ami’s lost extended family.
