I do object to having my published/copyrighted works made available to the public via the Google Print Library Project.

For works still under copyright, prior permission with some compensation is the only just way to respect authors' intellectual property. For books whose copyrights have lapsed, a contribution similar to the music ASCAP fund should be made and distributed to authors whose sales will be reduced by Google.
