I do object to having my published/copyrighted works made available to the public via the Google Print Library Project.

If a writer wants his copyrighted work to be freely available worldwide to an online readership, then the writer can say so and do so. But Google wants to build an archive that will include copyrighted works for which they have NOT been granted publishing permission. Furthermore, Google will make large sums of money through advertising on the archive site, but the writers of the copyrighted works will not receive a penny. If Google can more forward with its current plan, what meaning does copyright have?
