Join bestselling authors Robert Scheer and Joe Conason, a PEN member, for a wide-ranging discussion on the causes and consequences of the continuing financial crisis, and why successive administrations have championed Wall Street over Main Street. Scheer is the author of The Great American Stickup: How Reagan Republicans and Clinton Democrats Enriched Wall Street While Mugging Main Street, in which he uncovers the story behind the Wall Street financial crash of 2008 and the consequent global recession.

This conversation will be moderated by Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman, and will include audience questions and a book signing.

Cosponsored by Democrats.com, Haymarket Books, and Truthdig.
