Robert Kelly

11/29/05

I have no objection to having my published/copyrighted works made available to the public via the Google Print Library Project.

Language does not belong to any individual. We belong to it. The extension of Late Capitalism into the realm of the mind. under the bizarre notion of intellectual property (compare: spiritual property; aesthetic property; emotional property--are we heading toward corporate ownership of everything?) is something I would urge every writer to strive against.

Past that, I want to say a simple thing here. I write for you. Anything that makes you able to read me is a good thing...'whoever you are,' as great Whitman said.
