Selected Works
Journalist Jules Valles (1832-1885) was the object of an article in a British paper five years ago or so, when a study of his work appeared (titled Feet First: Jules Valles, by Walter Redfern of the University of Glasgow). But none of his texts were available in English. Some of the titles that should be done are L'enfant, Le bachelier, La rue a Londres (he was there in political exile), and Les refractaires, a portrait of down and out Bohemians.
