Many of the novels, plays, and poetry of the great Spanish writer Ramón María del Valle-Inclán (1866-1936) remain unavailable in English, among them: Sonatas: Memorias del Marques de Bradomin (published in 1924 as The Pleasant Memoirs but long out of print), El Ruedo iberico (a cycle of historical novels), Flor de santidad, La guerra carlista (three historical novels), Jardin Umbrio (short stories), Voces de gesta (play), La marquesa rosalinda (play), Tablado de Marionetas (collection of plays), and Claves liricas (collected poetry).
