Poetry by Joaquín Pasos (1915-1947) is totally unknown in this country, and not as well known as he should be elsewhere. The great Nicaraguan poet Joaquín Pasos (1915-1947) awaits publication. Yolanda Blanco and Chris Brandt have translated his poems into English, but are having problems getting their translation published, even though they have an introduction by Sergio Ramirez.
