Gül Ve Telve
The "Coffee Grounds" section of the book consists of 27 readings of fortunes from coffee grounds left in the bottom of the cup. This is a wonderful poem, reproducing the dilatory, tangential language that such readings (traditionally, but not exclusively done by gypsies) involve.

Recommended by Murat Nemet-Nejat.
