Telling the (Whole) Story: Celebrating Writers of Color

This event recognizes the accomplishments of the 2005 PEN/Beyond Margins Award winners: Faith Adiele, author of Meeting Faith: The Forest Journals of a Black Buddhist Nun; Raquel Cepeda, author of And It Don't Stop: The Best American Hip-Hop Journalism of the Last 25 Years; Lan Samantha Chang, author of Inheritance; Lolita Hernandez, author of Autopsy of an Engine and Other Stories from the Cadillac Plant; and Ishle Yi Park, author of The Temperature of This Water. Paul Auster and Elizabeth Nunez host an evening of readings and discussion and Esmeralda Santiago and Colin Channer read from the award-winning works.
